W. Lourene Vaden, age 95, of Ashland City, Tennessee, was called to be with the Lord on December 7, 2016, at Trevecca Long Term Health Care Facility in Nashville. Church affiliation was with Lawrenceville First Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and First Baptist Church in Ashland City, Tennessee. She was a retired supervisor from Bell South with 28 years service. Born in Monterey, Tennessee, to Ernest and Maggie England; she was the oldest of five children which were her sister Christine Chase and brothers Billy, Frank, and Harold. All of which are deceased. Marriage to James C. Vaden, deceased, was blessed with three children: Joyce Ann (deceased) with husband Robert, James Robert with wife Nancy, and Mary Kathryn with husband Ron. Family grew to include grandchildren, Ann Michelle, deceased, Jackie Keltner with husband Clay, Lisa Hudgins with husband Terry, Danny Vaden with wife Tonya, Dustin Gray with wife Dana, Kristin Anders with husband Lucas, Ryan Cundall with wife Stephanie, Jeff Cundall with wife Ali, and fifteen great grandchildren. Friends celebrated her life at Goff Funeral Home, 205 East Cleveland Avenue, Monterey, Tennessee, with visitation on Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a chapel service at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Joe Wiles officiating and concluded with burial at Welch Memorial Cemetery, Monterey, Tennessee. Funeral Services For Phyllis June Norrod, Age 74, Of The Hanging Limb Community Were Conducted On Friday, November 25, 2016, At 10:00 AM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Bro. Bennie Sells Officiated And Interment Followed In The George M. Phillips Cemetery. Mrs. Norrod Was Born On April 30, 1942, In Overton County, Tennessee, To The Late R.H. And Erna Handy Ledbetter. Mrs. Norrod Passed Away On Tuesday, November 22, 2016, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Norrod Was A Nurse At Standing Stone Care And Rehabilitation Center For 17 Years. Prior To That, She Ran Norrod's Grocery Store In Hanging Limb And Was A Factory Worker Working In The Garment Industry. She Attended Shiloh Baptist Church. She Was Survived By, 3 Sons And A Daughter-In-Law, David And Pam Norrod Of Monterey, TN, Billy Norrod Of Hanging Limb, TN, Terry Norrod Of Vine Ridge Community; Granddaughter, Layah Howard; 3 Sisters And Brothers-In-Law, Dimple And Ted Ledbetter Of Livingston, TN, Janet And Aaron Poston Of Alpine, TN, Pam And Gary Harris Of Rickman, TN; Brother And Sister-In-Law, Leo And Barbara Ledbetter Of Alpine, TN. In Addition To Her Parents, She Was Preceded In Death By Her Husband, Harold Norrod; Sister, Anna Carr; Brother, J.M. Ledbetter; And Daughter-In-Law, Kathy Norrod. Mrs. Miller Was Born On February 24, 1942, In Gallia County, Ohio, To The Late Charlie Fate Parker And Jewel Stephens. Mrs. Miller Passed Away On Monday, November 21, 2016, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She Was A Homemaker. She Attended Mineral Springs Freewill Baptist Church And Monterey Community Church. She Was Survived By Her Husband Of Over 55 Years, George Miller Of Monterey, TN; 1 Daughter, Melissa Jackson Of Monterey, TN; 3 Sons And A Daughter-In-Law, George Vincent And Tarina Miller Of Algood, TN, Stephen Clay Miller Of Monterey, TN, Charles T. Miller Of Monterey, TN; 17 Grandchildren; And 12 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Milligan Passed Away On Saturday, November 19, 2016, At His Home. Greg Was Employed At Davidson Hotels And Resorts, DBA, And Hilton Memphis As Director Of Sales. He Loved Traveling And Entertaining With His Husband, Jose. Upon Moving To Memphis, Greg Embraced The City And Was Active In Many Organizations Including The Touchdown Club Of Memphis, AutoZone Liberty Bowl And The Local LGBT Community. Greg Loved His Husband, Family, Friends, Coworkers, And Memphis. Greg Leaves To Cherish His Memory His Husband And Partner Of 25 Years, Jose Echeverria Of Cordova, TN; His Father And Stepmother, Les And Sue Milligan Of Monterey, TN; Brother And Sister-In-Law, Douglas And Rhonda Milligan Of Scottsdale, AZ; And A Host Of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces And Nephews.
