He Was A Member Of The Vine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He Is Survived By His Son, Michael Thomas Hargis Of Monterey, TN; 2 Sisters And Brothers-In-Law, Diane And Steven Riutta Of Crawford, TN, Delores And James Russell Of Denton, NC; 2 Brothers And Sisters-In-Law, Dewayne And Darlene Hargis Of Nashville, TN, Danny And Margaret Hargis Of Monterey, TN. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Wife, Melissa Ann Whittaker Hargis; And An Infant Sister, Denise Christine Hargis. She Attended Monterey Schools And Graduated With Honors From Monterey High School In 1947. On July 5, 1947, She Married Willie (Eck) Whittaker And They Moved To Dayton, Ohio. Mrs. Whittaker Passed Away On Thursday, April 5, 2018, In Harlingen, Texas. Mrs. Whittaker Worked For Defense Electronic Supply Center And Wright Patterson Air Force Base In Dayton, Ohio. She Was One Of The First Secretaries At Wright Patterson AFB Who Received Training In Word Processing When Computers Were First Put Into Use At The Base. She Was A Member Of The Church Of The Nazarene For 70 Years And Had Lived In Dayton, Ohio, Fairborn Ohio, Monterey, Tennessee, And Harlingen, Texas. She Was Survived By, Daughter And Son-In-Law, Donna And Pastor Mel Justice Of Harlingen, TX; Grandson, John Justice Of Austin, TX; And Many Nieces And Nephews. Mr. Bailey Was Born On September 5, 1926, To Wendell And Christina Bailey In Barre, Vermont. He Is A Graduate Of Spaulding High School In Barre, Vermont. He Worked More Than 30 Years For New England Bell Telephone Starting As A Lineman And Soon Finding His Niche As Telephone Repairman. For Over Two Decades, He Was A Member Of The Barre Town Volunteer Fire Department In Vermont. He Chose Early Retirement At Age 59 In Order To Join MMAP, Retired Christian RVers Who Volunteer For Construction And Renovation Projects For Churches, Camps, And Orphanages Around The United States. He Was An Active Member Of Websterville Baptist Church In Vermont And More Recently Of Kissimmee First Baptist Church In Florida. He Continued To Volunteer For Various Christian Ministries In The Orlando Area. He Was Survived By His Wife Of 20 Years, Marceline (Irwin) Bailey, And Her Son, William John Irwin; 5 Daughters, Cheryl-Ann Reynolds (David), Donna James (Jeffrey), Wendy Carter (Robert), Marsha Savage (Arthur), Penny Waite (Paul); 11 Grandchildren; And 11 Great Grandchildren. Robert Daniel "Bob" Bohannon, Age 56, Of Monterey, Tennessee, Passed Away On Friday, January 26, 2018, At His Home. Mr. Bohannon Was Born On September 5, 1961, In Monterey, Tennessee, To The Late Harry And Mattie McNally Ledbetter Bohannon. Mr. Bohannon Was A Heavy Equipment Operator. He Was Survived By His Sister And Brother-In-Law, Carolyn And Minnis Vaughn Of Monterey, TN; Brother And Sister-In-Law, Dwaine And Velma Ledbetter Of Monterey, TN; Sister-In-Law, Louise Ledbetter Of Monterey, TN; Nieces And Nephews, Chelise (Morgan) Ashburn, Priscilla Ledbetter, Matthew Ledbetter, And Mark (Charity) Ledbetter. In Addition To His Parents, He Was Preceded In Death By His Brother, Ernest Ledbetter. His Wishes Of Cremation With No Services Were Honored.
