Jerry Bilbrey, Age 49, Of Algood, Tennessee Passed Away Friday, July 3, 2009, At His Home. Mr. Bilbrey Was Born December 22, 1959, In Jeffersonville, Indiana To Ernest Bilbrey Of Monterey, Tennessee And To The Late Bessie Willene Reels Bilbrey. Mr. Bilbrey Was A Disabled Factory Worker From Dacco. In Addition To His Father He Is Survived By His Wife Tammy Harp Bilbrey– Algood, TN; 2 Daughters– Amy Bilbrey – Monterey, TN , Ashley Naibors – Shady Grove Community; 2 Grandchildren – Allie and Hunter; 2 Step Children– Lindsey Roberts – Algood, TN, Travis Roberts – Algood, TN; 2 Sisters – Pamela Bowman – Rickman, TN, Candy Henley – Baxter, TN; And 2 Brothers – Lannie Bilbrey – Monterey, TN, Sammy Bilbrey – Monterey, TN. In Addition To His Mother He Was Preceded In Death By 2 Grandsons- Landon Edward and Jacob; and Brother, Darrell Bilbrey. The Family Has Chosen Cremation and No Services Are Planned At This Time.

Funeral Services For Clifford Phillips, Age 70, Of Monterey, Tennessee Were Conducted Tuesday, June 30, 2009, At 10:00 AM From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Floyd and Rev. Ronnie Pierce Officiated And Interment Followed  In The Mineral Springs Cemetery. Mr. Phillips Was Born December 3, 1938, In Overton County, Tennessee To The Late Joe and Daisy Smith Phillips. Mr. Phillips Passed Away On Saturday, June 27, 2009, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Phillips Was Retired From McCord Where He Worked For 30 Years and Was A Used Car Dealer. He Is Survived By His Wife Of 50 Years– Frances Riddle Phillips – Monterey, TN; 2 Sons And A Daughter In Law– Mike and Shelia Phillips – Monterey, TN, Kenny Phillips– Monterey, TN; 4 Grandchildren– Tiffany, Cody, Ashley and Whitney; 2 Sisters– Wanda Whittaker – Monterey, TN, Pearl Whittaker– Monterey, TN; 3 Brothers– Doyle Phillips – Anderson, IN, Bethel Phillips – Monterey, TN, and Donnie Phillips – Monterey, TN. Mr. Phillips Was Born September 19, 1947, In Monterey, Tennessee to The Late Emby and Clemmie Vaughn Phillips. Mr. Phillips Passed Away Saturday, June 27, 2009, At The Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Phillips Was A Sawmill Worker. He Is Survived By: 2 Step Daughters and Sons in Laws – Sheila And Joe Denson- Monterey, TN, Kathy and David Lemieux- Monterey, TN; 5 Step Sons and Daughters Laws– Earl and Sharon Walker-Cookeville, TN, Ricky and Marilyn Walker- Monterey, TN, Leon and Wanda Walker- McMinnville, TN, Bobby Walker- Monterey, TN, Johnny and Rita Walker- Monterey, TN; 1 Brother and Sister In Law– Marshall and Dean Phillips- Monterey, TN; and 1 Sister – Linda Walker- Monterey, TN. Mr. Phillips was Preceded In Death By His Wife- Thelma Ruth Tosh Phillips; 3 Sisters- Nerva Seagraves, Bessie Phillips and Mertie Jackson; and 2 Brothers- Jackie Phillips and L.J. Phillips. Funeral Services For C.B. Noel Selby, Age 84, Of Monterey, Tennessee Were Conducted Saturday, June 27, 2009, At 10:00 Am From The Chapel Of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Phillips Officiated And Interment Followed In The Welch Memorial Cemetery In Monterey With Full Military Honors By The Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Selby Was Born January 2, 1925, In White County, Tennessee To The Late Robert Franklin And Beulah Mae England Selby. Mr. Selby Passed Away On Wednesday, June 24, 2009, At The Standing Stone Care And Rehabilitation Center In Monterey. Mr. Selby Was A Retired Coal Miner, A WWII US Navy Veteran, A Member Of The United Mine Workers Association, Active in Local Little League For Over 25 Years Where He Coached and Umpired, A Lifetime Member Of VFW Post 6277 And A Member Of The Green Pond Masonic Lodge # 703. He Was Survived By- 1 Daughter and Son In Law- Vickie And Roger Hargis – Monterey, TN; 2 Sons And Daughters In Law – Rev. Roger Noel And Linda C. Selby- Deer Lodge, TN, Thomas And Wendy Selby – Lebanon, TN; 3 Grandchildren – Shane Selby, Robert Selby and Rebekah Reagan; 4 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers – Bob Selby - Monterey, TN,  Lloyd Selby- Smithville, TN; Special Friend- Mattie Jernigan- Monterey, TN. Funeral Services For Douglas Marcom, Age 57, Of Monterey, Tennessee Were Conducted Thursday, June 25, 2009, At 10:30 AM From The Church Of God In Christ Mennonite. Rev. Bryan Koehen and Rev. Weldon Koehen Officiated At The Services And  Interment Followed In The Pine Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Marcom Was Born March 1, 1952, In Wilmington, Delaware To The Late Tillman And Catherine Withers Marcom. Mr. Marcom Passed Away Saturday, June 20, 2009, At The Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Mr. Marcom Was A Disabled Excavator Contractor And A Member Of The Church Of God In Christ Mennonite. He Is Survived By His Wife –Lucille Jantzen Marcom – Monterey, TN; 2 Daughters- Holly Marcum- Monterey, TN and Sarah Marcom- Monterey, TN; 2 Sons – Craig Marcom- Monterey, TN and  Jeffery Marcom- Monterey, TN; 1 Brother- Robert Marcom- Chattanooga, TN. ELISE M. INGRAM
Elise M. Ingram, Age 81, Of Pleasant Hill, Tennessee And Formerly Of Monterey, Tennessee Passed Away On March 5, 2009, At Her Daughter's Home In Martinsburg, West Virginia. A Memorial Service Was Conducted On Wednesday, June 24, 2009, At 11 AM From The Monterey United Methodist Church With Rev. James Johnson And Dr. Martin Thielen Officiating. Ms. Ingram Was Born On November 16, 1927,  In Loudon, Tennessee To The Late Steven and Lillian McCarroll. Ms. Ingram Attended Sweetwater High School. She Received Her BA In Teaching From Carson Newman College And Went On To Work On Her MA In Psychology From Vanderbilt University And Graduated From Tennessee Technological University. She Was A Teacher For 33 Years Having Taught At Bell Meade Elementary, Uffelman Elementary, And Capshaw Elementary. Ms. Ingram Was A Member Of The Monterey United Methodist Church, The Master Singers And The Monterey Garden Club. Survivors Include: Her Daughter and Son In Law- Susan And Dan Fagan Of Martinsburg, WV; Granddaughter- Amanda Sherwood And Her Husband Seth Of Shepherdstown, WV; Step-Grandsons Jonathon Fagan Of Murfreesboro, TN, And Ryan Fagan Of Cookeville, TN. In Addition To Her Parents She Was Preceded In Death By A Son Mark Ingram; Brothers- Dee, Sydney, Cecil, And Clyde McCarroll.
